I’ve been recently asked some of the same questions, so I thought I would post some of those answers!
SIM (Serving in Mission) is an international mission organization with more than 1,600 active missionaries serving in over 40 countries. SIM members serve God among many diverse people groups in Africa, Asia, and South America. (for more info about SIM, check out their website, www.sim.org)
I will be in Zamba, working mainly for a church, who has started ministry on several Zambian campuses. I’m hoping to continue serving through discipleship and also through helping with weekly bible studies.
I’m planning to leave in October, but my plane ticket has not been bought yet. And I’m planning to be there for about a year.
I’m working on a newsletter to send to each of you, to give you more updates about where God is taking me!
Things to be be praying for:
- A Zambian national that I would connect with quickly, with whom I can develop a deep friendship.
- All small details and logistics of traveling internationally to fall into place, without worry taking over.
- Preparation in my heart for the physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that will be happening soon.
